All new Satellite Images

By partnering up with SkySight, we have launched our all-new, worldwide, satellite images. The 5-minute resolution makes them almost video-like and the quality is stunning, but have a look yourself.

Once you activate them for individual flights by clicking on the field 'Satellite images', they are preloaded for the entire flight. This gives a very smooth, video-like playback of the images. The worldwide 15-minute resolution is available to anyone. The 5-minute resolution is part of the Supporter or Premium package.

In North America, where they already have the next generation of satellites in orbit you can watch individual cumulus clouds appear and follow every decision that the pilot took. This resolution will also come to Europe with Meteosat Third Generation later this year.

For Australian flights, we love the stunning colors of the terrain and the contrast of the sharp cumulus clouds above. In Japan, you can see breathtaking wave lines forming along the entire island.
